It was unfortunately a rather damp and misty day when we set out on this walk and it remained that way for the rest of the day. We re-visted the dilapidated shepherd's hut in Piddle Wood which we last visited on a really wet day. We also stopped to admire the Church of the Holy Trinity at Turners Puddle.
We had previously covered a fair bit of this walk but the section from Damer Hill and over Balckhill Clum was new and an interesting area of heathland.
Our fourth member, Rob, had been having a few problems with his wiring but, being extremely fond of the meals at the Drax Arms, he managed to drag himself along to the pub for lunch.
